The building, originally designed by Sir Owen Williams one of Britain’s foremost architects of the period, was acquired by Hollybrook and planning obtained for the extension and conversion of the 1930’s factory to provide 44 enormous New York style lofts.
The sensitively converted and restored development by Hollybrook remains an outstanding example of industrial Art Deco architecture, with each of the Lofts benefitting from triple height ceilings throughout, oversized windows and secure off street parking.
DeHavilland Lofts is located close to all the local amenities of both Upper Clapton Road and Chatsworth Road which have an excellent weekend market. There are good bus links in to The City, as well as Clapton station, which is less than a 10 minute walk away, taking you to Liverpool Street in approximately 10 minutes. The development was hugely successful with all studios selling in a single weekend.
